Our Clergy

 

Rev. Fr. Theodore J. Barbas
Chancellor

Father Ted graduated from Hellenic College in 1989 with a BA in Pre-Theology, and from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in 1992 with a Master of Divinity degree. He served as the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for the Diocese of Boston for seven years, as well as Director of the Metropolis of Boston Camp during the same period. Father Ted married Daphne (Zervoglos) in 1994, and now they have four children: Maria, Katerina, Yianni and Thea. He was ordained in March of 1995 and served as Deacon to Metropolitan Methodios until being ordained to the Holy Priesthood in September of 1996 at the Taxiarchae Parish in Watertown, Massachusetts, where he served as Proistamenos until September 2008. Father Ted currently serves as the Chancellor of the Metropolis of Boston.
